ABOUT THE SHOW
THE NEVADA COUNTY FAIR FALL FLOWER SHOW is sponsored by THE ROSE GARDEN CLUB OF NEVADA COUNTY. The members provide the citizens of Nevada County a showcase of beautiful horticulture specimens annually at the Nevada County Fair.
This club has worked hard for more than a decade to provide attractive displays; to secure knowledgeable judges; to raise the competitive level of the Flower Show by accepting quality specimens and design entrants from throughout the county.
Rules for Fall Flower Show:
Plants must be in exhibitor’s possession three months.
Containers must be furnished by exhibitor and marked for identification.
All entries must be placed by 10:00 a.m. on Judging Day (Tuesday of Fair Week).
No State Conservation material permitted.
A Best of Show will be awarded, at the discretion of the judges, to a Senior and/or Junior to an overall entry from Class 1 and Class 2, Arrangements.
An additional Best of Show will be awarded, at the discretion of judges, to an entry from Class 3 and Class 4, Container Plants.
